alvaro goes to Paris aprox once a month to work. he stays in the center, near the rue muffetard...a colegue from work took him last year to a little restaurant in the rue descartes, La Méthode. Now, each time he goes to Paris, he has dinner in this place.
he told me that it was a true french style restaurant, and he didn't lie...
Paris is like home to me, I've been many times, but each time I get there I feel like it's the first...it's like a spell.
Paris has this special luminity, that even with a rainy day, the city is kind and warm to the stranger...
it's normal, you have all this greatness floating around, it's imposible not to feel it...
we arrived really late to have dinner, like 10.30 pm, but it was friday and La Methode didn't close till 1am, so after leaving our bags in the hotel, we took a taxi directly to the restaurant.
first of all you have to know that Alvaro is Virgo and I am Scorpio,and that together we represent Libra, so you will understand why it took us so long to decide in which table to seat...outside we had like 12º, but once we where seated in the inside, we thought that outside it would be much better...so we went outside...we where seated outside deciding what to have for dinner,...the breeze started to blow...alvaro looked at me..."should we go inside?" ...10 min later we where again inside, thank god!
alvaro asked for a Cotês du Rhóne
and for me it was the perfect combination...
after that we decided to have a Green Salad With Duck Magret and Foie
as a main course, I decided to have the Tournedo a la Poivre...delicieux!

What a good idea to go back inside. If it was too windy, it may have spoiled your dinner. ;-)
The restaurant sounds nice, as well as your meal.
How nice to always return to a place and never get tired of it.
