Max, was excited with the idea of being the main protagonist of today's post. He asked me to say thank you to Sweetnicks, for making a special day for dogs.
So, let me introduce him. Max is a 3year and 3 month Golden Retriever, born in Madrid and the first to be born in a litter of 8 puppies. He was a roly-poly little thing of 40 days when he came home with us and from the begining he became the puplic relations of our family.
Max has always been a happy dog, a little scared of high noises and curious about anything that you do. If he is in the kitchen with me, he would sniff the drawers, keeps an eye on me while I chop the onions, and if he gets bored, he just puts his head between my feet and starts to grumble...
When I read about Gino, last week, I found that Angelika, also called Gino, "therapist". The main difference I found minutes later, after reading everything about him, is that Gino is a True Therapist. Max is only in a figuartive sence. You see, we've got friends that had always been frightened of dogs, till they knew Max...now you can see them throwing the ball to him...
My grandfather, that has always been a perfect gentleman (also with the part of not showing any feelings) couldn't stop playing with him...and if there's children around, he would bend down, till his head is below the children's head...
He is our baby!!
I look forward to reading more stories about Max. ;-)

que mooooono!!!I simply adore your dog, el "pequeño" Max...those of you who only know him through the post and photos should know that I call him "little Max" because even though you can see he's everything but tiny, I'm sure he believes he's a little chihuahua, my chihuahuito, and so he behaves!!He loves resting on me and however makes him some mimos...

Hi Paz! Max has soooo many stories...I'll tell more about him next weekend. but in the mean time, I'll tell you one more. He loves to sleep under the sun, and he gets soo asleep that he doesn't even notice that you get in the house...what a guard dog...;)
Hi Angelika! What I said about Gino it's true! And I know, Golden are also my favourite. We're even thinking of having another one...they look as they are so mature, with that serious look on their eyes, when you know that in the inside all he wants is "mimos"...alll day "mimos"...
Hi Joey!! Yes, he is adorable...and like Gino, sometimes he does things that ...well..., you don't think that he is soo cute...
But still he my baby!!

Another cutie pie! I love how Max has others who are previously afraid of dogs that they don't have to be scared. I also love the story of your grandfather and Max. That's great!

Hi Tattum - MAX, finally ! And how cute he is ! I love the photos - and of course for ME there is nothing like a Golden... (excuse me, please). Thank you for writing in such a kind way about Gino, but I can assure you that he is an absolutely "normal" dog also, in spite of his special task, a real teaser, who steals the paper towels out of the waste paper basket or the bread from the kitchen table (as done today). But to be honest that`s what I like about him - showing he is a happy dog and knowing that he can rely on us not to punish him (seriously). He knows from my face alone....One day after having returned from London I took him out for a long walk together with his girl friend Fanny, they had so much fun together - and though I did not call him one time he suddenly ran back to me, jumping up, as if he wanted to show how happy he was to be around with me again....Gino teaches how to savour life !
Will send my doggie entry tomorrow, a big kiss to Max from gino and angelika
