I Know I've Done Something Wrong, But What?

This is the look of my chocolate muffins after the 15min oven baking.

Can any one tell me what did I do wrong?
Because I know muffins shouldn't look this way...

I was reading Farmgirl Fare, when I came through a recipe of some good looking chocolate muffins. It was an emergency, and so it said in the recipe "For Small But Serious Chocolate Cake Emergencies", I thought it was perfect. But you'll see that there's no possible comparision between hers and mines ;)

I later thought that maybe the emergency was me trying to bake muffins, jijiji ;))

(right now I'm trying to get even with my baking, and there's an apple crumb pie baking in my oven, I'll write about it later)
